Porch Pirates, DWI Arrests, Alcohol Theft Reported In Hillsborough

Hillsborough Township Police released its blotter for the month of June.

HILLSBOROUGH, NJ — Porch pirates, multiple driving while intoxicated arrests, theft, and more were reported in the recent Hillsborough Township June Police Blotter.

June 1: Natacha Riley, 42, of Middlesex, was arrested for DWI while on a traffic stop on Route 206. She was processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.

June 1: Avis Thompson-Springer, 42, of Irvington, was arrested for DWI while on a traffic stop on Route 206. She was processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.

June 1: Eduardo Moreno Hernandez, 23, of Piscataway, was arrested for DWI while on a traffic stop on Route 206. He was processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.

June 2: John Adams, 62, of Hillsborough, was charged with disorderly conduct after (Township Ordinance) being belligerent in public. He was served his summons and advised of his Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.

June 3: Vineborough Liquors (315 Rt. 206) reported an unknown man stole $394 worth of alcohol and fled the scene. The investigation is ongoing.

June 4: Richard Niedt, 73, of Hillsborough, was charged with defiant trespassing (disorderly persons) after he entered his neighbor’s property several times after being asked not to do so. He was served his summons and advised of his Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.

June 5: A resident of Victoria Court reported a package containing Drain-O was opened after delivery. The drain clearing liquor was still in the box, therefore nothing was taken. The investigation is ongoing.

June 7: A resident of Dorset Court reported a package containing a MacBook was stolen from the front porch after delivery. The computer was valued at $1,729. The investigation is ongoing.

June 8: Joshua Smith-Nemard, 45, of Hillsborough, was arrested for DWI while on a traffic stop on Route 206. He was processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.

June 8: Jeffery Hardgrove, 63, of Hillsborough, was arrested for DWI while on a traffic stop on Amwell Road. He was processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.

June 9: A resident of Heather Drive reported that a former roommate stole $30,000 worth of items from the residence while he was away. The investigation is ongoing.

June 10: A resident of Millstone River Road reported he received harassing letters about his political signs in his front yard. The investigation is ongoing.

June 10: A resident of Hillsborough reported his tires were slashed while his vehicle was parked at Lowes (315 Route 206). He valued the tires at $500. The investigation is ongoing.

June 12: A resident of Bloomingdale reported that several items were stolen from his vehicle while it was at Copart (2123 Camplain Road). He valued the items at $14,000. The investigation is ongoing.

June 15: Scott Weiss, 53, of Hillsborough, was arrested for DWI while on a traffic stop on Millstone River Road. He was processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.

June 18: Jessica Leinbach, 33, of Hillsborough, was arrested for DWI while on a traffic stop on Valley Road. She was processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.

June 18: A resident of Mack Drive reported that an unknown man walked up his driveway at 4:33 a.m. before fleeing when his motion light came on. The investigation is ongoing.

June 18: Heaven Bassrone, 23, of Trenton, was charged with tampering with public records (disorderly persons) after providing officers with a fake Louisiana Registration while on a traffic stop on Route 206. She was advised of her Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date and released.

June 18: A resident of Durling Way reported that a laptop computer was stolen from his home sometime within the week. There were no signs of forced entry or suspects. The investigation is ongoing.

June 18: A resident of Kimble Court reported his unlocked vehicle was rummaged through overnight. Nothing was taken, and the investigation is ongoing.

June 18: The owner of a business on Ilene Court reported someone entered the building, moved items around, knocked items over and clogged a toilet. Nothing was taken and the investigation is ongoing.

June 19: Vanessa Lynch, 35, of Hillsborough, was arrested for DWI while on a traffic stop on Homestead Road. She was processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal Courtdate.

June 21: Michael Smith, 61, of Princeton, was arrested for DWI while on a traffic stop on the Route 206 Bypass. He was processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.

June 21: Cynthia De Lorenzo, 56, of Medford, was arrested for DWI while on a motor vehicle crash investigation on Route 206. He was processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.

June 23: Kanika Williams, 46, of Hillsborough, was charged with dog at large (township ordinance) and failure to register dog (township ordinance) after her dog was roaming the area unleashed. She was served her summonses and advised of her Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.

June 23: A resident on Meadowbrook Drive reported that an older man was seen walking up her driveway and into her open garage. The man did not take anything and walked away a short time later. The investigation is ongoing.

June 24: Ryan Sommer, 36, of Hillsborough, was charged with disorderly conduct (township ordinance) after he was found harassing customers in the parking lot of Shoprite (601 Route 206). He was served his summons and advised of his Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.
