Rotary Donation Stocks Food Bank for 'Very Long Time'
Mayor Frank DelCore notes sizable donation will help many families.
Members of the Hillsborough Rotary Club handed over a ceremonial check for $6,000 to the Hillsborough Food bank at Tuesday's Township Committee meeting.
"We are very thankful to the members of the Hillsborough Rotary Club for this donation, especially in these economically challenging times for so many of our residents,” Mayor Frank DelCore said.
The Hillsborough Food Panty services approximately 80 plus families each month and over 100 families during the holiday programs. Generally speaking, clients of the Food Pantry obtain basic need items every two weeks.

Mayor Frank DelCore reminded residents that any Hillsborough resident facing financial difficulty can visit the Hillsborough Township Food Pantry for assistance. The pantry stocks; seasonal locally grown produce, canned goods, other non-perishable food items, household cleaning supplies, paper products and personal hygiene items.
