Special Teams Spark Hillsborough Football Victory
Late 80-yard touchdown lifts Raiders in back-and-forth battle.

In the middle of the fourth quarter in Friday's game against Bridgewater-Raritan, the Raiders' Andrew Zitel grabbed a punt and ran nearly 60 yards for a touchdown—unfortunately, a holding call canceled the score.
Fortunately, Zitel had found the opening in the Bridgewater-Raritan High School Panthers' defense, and exploited it again on a 80-yard pass from Rob Nitolo seconds after the Panthers grabbed the lead with just under two minutes left in the game.
Zitel's touchdown was the game's final score, giving the Raiders a 34-27 victory.
Zitel wasn't the night's only hero, though, as big interceptions by Victor DelRio and Jared Senerchia took the wind out of the Panther's powerful air game.
Next up for the Raiders will be a home stand against Linden Oct. 4.
This article was corrected to change an error in Zitel's final score.
