Voters Should Know Properties Open Space Funds Could Improve

I have been following the arguments for and against the proposal to allocate up to 20 percent of Hillsborough Township’s Open Space budget for improvement of existing open space sites.  

While I understand the need to make these sites more available to residents of Hillsborough, I have seen no specific proposals regarding what sites need to be improved or what specific improvements may be needed.

While I realize that specific sites targeted for improvement cannot be finally approved until after voting on this proposal, which will be on the Nov. 5 election ballot, could someone please provide some examples of specific open space sites that may benefit from such improvement?  

I believe that this could help voters decide whether to support or oppose this proposal.
