3 Arrested In Hoboken With Stolen Mail Key And Checks, Police Say
Three men were arrested in Hoboken after being caught with a mail key stolen from a postal worker last month, police say
HOBOKEN, NJ — Three men were arrested in Hoboken this week in connection with a key that was robbed from a postal worker last month, police said.
Jacquez McCall, 31, of Paterson, Sean Miller, 30, of East Stroudsburg, Pa., and Abdoul Toure, 26, of New York City were arrested Sunday "in connection with the unlawful use of a stolen postal service key," said the Hoboken police.
The arrests were part of a coordinated operation with the U.S. Postal Inspection Service, they said.

On Sunday, around 2:30 a.m., Hoboken Police officers responded to reports ofsomeone trying to open a U.S. Postal Service mailbox near the intersection of Seventh Street and Willow Avenue, police said.
When officers arrived, they saw Toure leaving the area and getting into avehicle, which was subsequently pulled over, police said.

All three men were inside.
Upon further investigation, officers discovered nine stolen credit cards in a pocket on the front passenger side door, as well as two bags filled with envelopes and documents containing various names and addresses, police said.
A stack of checks for various amounts was also found in the glove compartment, police said.
McCall, Miller, and Toure were charged with burglary, theft of movable property, conspiracy to commit burglary, credit card theft, receiving stolen property, and criminal attempt, police said.
Police said that while Miller was being taken to headquarters, he kicked an officer and was charged with aggravated assault.
Police discovered he had active warrants out of Elmwood Park and Kenilworth, they said.
McCall and Toure were released with summonses and court dates, while Miller was taken to the Hudson County Correction Facility, police said.
Police recovered a master key that had been stolen from a postal worker in a robbery in Hoboken on Dec. 19.
That robbery remains under investigation by the Hoboken Police Department, in conjunction with the U.S. Postal Service Inspectors. Anyone with information is asked to contact Det. Samuel Flores at Floress@hobokenpdnj.gov.
