$50K Winning Lottery Ticket Sold In Hudson County: See Where

The second-highest jackpot in the Powerball game's history was won on Wednesday.

HUDSON COUNTY, NJ — While the $1.817 billion prize in Wednesday's Powerball drawing eluded the Garden State, 11 tickets here won $50,000 or more, including one sold in Hudson County.

The winning numbers for the Christmas Eve drawing were 04, 25, 31, 52, and 59. The Power Ball was 19, and the multiplier was 02.

According to the New Jersey Lottery, eight players matched four white balls and the Power Ball and were rewarded with $50,000 each. Another player had the four matched, the Power Ball, and the multiplier to earn $100,000.

Two others won $50,000 through the Double Play game after they matched four while balls and the Double Play ball. The winning numbers were 03, 15, 19, 29, and 35 with a Double Play ball of 21.

The $50,000 winning ticket from Hudson County was sold at Union Liquors at 710 Summit Ave.

The $1.817 billion grand prize in Wednesday's drawing was the second-highest Powerball jackpot ever, and had a cash value of $834.9 million.
