3 Hoboken Holiday Markets To Be Held This Weekend

HOBOKEN, NJ — Want to shop local and get unique gifts? At least three markets are happening in Hoboken this weekend, two of them special holiday markets.

Holiday Market, Saturday

The annual Hoboken Holiday Market will be held on Saturday, Dec. 7, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Damon Murray Community Gym at 605 Jackson St.

The market will include activities for kids including a holiday-themed bounce house from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m., as well as crafters and vendors. It will also include food trucks and a beer garden.

Hoboken Farmers Market, Saturday

What might you find for the holidays at the Hoboken Farmers Market on Saturday?

Main Street Pops, Sunday

Main Street Pops kicks off a Holiday Market Series under the 14th Street Viaduct on Sundays, starting this weekend through Dec. 22, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

They'll have activities for adults and kids. Vendors will be selling:

• Fashion and Jewelry
• Art and Photography
• Home Decor, Kids Stuff and Vintage Finds
• Artisanal Foods and Pet Products

Dec. 8 will kick off the series with a Holiday Community Concert where local musicians and dancers will perform throughout the day, filling the air with joy & holiday cheer.
Dec. 15 will feature Live Ice Sculpture Carvings during the market
Dec. 22 will offer Free Carousel Rides for the little ones and a Holiday DJ Dance Party with Black Magic DJs spinning Holiday Tunes

There will also be a Holiday Photo Booth at each market with different Holiday Backdrops:

Dec. 8- Winter Wonderland
Dec. 15- Under the Mistletoe
Dec. 22- Candy Cane Lane

There will be a grab and go station run by Bwe Kae, and on Dec. 22, a beer garden run by Schmitty’s Hoboken.

Next Weekend

Meanwhile, the Hoboken Historical Museum, which holds a weekly Saturday market in its 13th Street alcove, is planning a market for next weekend.

Their market with Walkway Pops x Shipyard Shops will run Dec. 14 and 15 from 1-6 p.m.
