Toastique

Toastique, a growing chain of healthy toast, bowl, and juice shops, opened its latest store across from the Ridgewood Train Station last month.

Owner Laura Trione worked in pharmaceuticals in New Jersey but had an eye on the restaurant business. She walked into a Toastique in Stone Harbor and a match was made.

"I love physical fitness," she said, "and this meshes well...As soon as I walked in, I was thrilled to be there. Everything was so fresh."

The shop also offers to-go items and gift sets. They also have a toast of the month; this month it's s'mores crunch.
