Adam Sandler's production company has been filming a movie, "Roommates," in Hoboken. He tried the local pizza.

HOBOKEN, NJ — As the cast and crew of the movie "Roommates" filmed in Hoboken last week, producer and comedy star Adam Sandler stopped into a local pizzeria known for its giant slices.
Benny Tudino's Pizza posted a photo to social media of the comedian stopping into the store:
"The great comic and actor Adam Sandler stopped by for a slice of Benny Tudino's pizza," posted the restaurant on Friday.

The crew of "Roommates" has been spotted at Ninth and Hudson Streets for the last two weeks, including at a fraternity house at the Stevens Institute of Technology.

Reports say Adam Sandler's Happy Madison Productions and Netflix are producing the film, which will star the comedian's daughter, Sadie Sandler, 19, who is an NYU student.
The film will also star Nick Kroll, Chloe East, Sarah Sherman, Natasha Lyonne, and Storm Reid.
The cast and crew have been filming in other New Jersey locations, including Millburn, Livingston, and Monclair, according to reports.
Deadline describes the plot as: "A hopeful, naive college freshman, Devon, asks the cool and confident Celeste to be her roommate, seeing a blossoming friendship spiral thereafter into a war of passive aggression."
Hoboken has become a popular spot for TV and movie filmings. A new Michelle Williams legal thriller, "A Place In Hell," also known as "Coin Toss" started filming in that area of the city last month.
