Alleged Burglar Robs Two Downtown Apartments
At least five residents reported that things were missing from their apartments, police said.

An unknown robber broke into at least two apartments at Second and Clinton Streets on Tuesday, police said.
At least five residents at 209 Clinton St. said that items were stolen while they weren't home, according to reports.
Three 25-year-old women in one of the apartments reported laptops and jewelry missing, according to the report. Two men—one 24, the other 25—in another apartment in the building reported laptops missing, as well as cash and an iPhone, police said.

The burglaries took place between 9 a.m. and 6:20 p.m. on Tuesday, police said.
When police arrived at 209 Clinton St., they saw boot marks on the lower half of the door to one of the apartments. There was heavy damage to the frame and the door's lock, according to the report, indiciating a forced entry.

There was no usable surveillance footage at 209 Clinton St., police said. No arrests were made and an investigation into the matter is ongoing.
