American-Isreali Comedian to Perform at United Synagogue of Hoboken
Benji Lovitt will perform at the United Synagogue of Hoboken on Tuesday, November 11, at 7:30 p.m.

Benji Lovitt, an American-Israeli stand up comedian, will be holding a show for Hoboken residents in their 20s and 30s at the United Synagogue of Hoboken on Tuesday, November 11. Doors open at 7:30 p.m. and the show starts at 8 p.m.
“Sometimes, you just have to laugh. And living in Israel, that ‘sometimes’ ends up being often,” said the Synagogue in a release. “Lovitt takes on everything from Birthright to the IDF, from hummus to the amusing differences between Americans and Israelis.”
Lovitt’s performance is sponsored by Jersey Tribe, United Synagogue of Hoboken, Moishe House Hoboken, Jewish Young Adults of Hoboken and Jewish Federation of Northern New Jersey.

“I love performing in the States,” said Lovitt. “We Israelis may complain a lot when we live there, but the moment I land in the US, I feel like the Minister of Tourism. To be able to make people smile when they think of Israel is incredibly meaningful.”
