Hoboken Multi-Service Center To Reopen Tuesday (UPDATE)

A burst pipe in a Hoboken building canceled several programs, but the Hoboken Multi-Service Center will reopen on Tuesday.

HOBOKEN, NJ — Hoboken's Multi-Service Center, which provides community, senior, and recreational programming, will reopen Tuesday after being closed Monday because of a burst pipe, the city said on Monday night.

The city said that the center, at 124 Grand St., will remain closed because the problem has impacted water service. Repairs are underway, the city said.

Recreation programs including basketball, pickleball, and cheer, are cancelled. All senior programs at the Multi-Service Center have been cancelled as well.

City offices inside the Center, including the Health Division, Office of Senior Services, Rent Control Office, and Office of Vital Statistics, are closed to the public today.

The Grand Street library branch is also closed today.

Today’s planned seminar on brain health has been cancelled, the city said. A new date will be announced in the coming days.

Open office hours with Hudson County Social Services are cancelled today.

The city will provide updates later, they said.
