'Canada's Greatest Party Band' To Headline Hoboken Fall Festival
Applications for vendors at Hoboken's fall Art and Music Festival open Monday. See who's performing.
HOBOKEN, NJ — The headliner for Hoboken's semi-annual Arts and Music Festival this September will be a set of musicians known as "Canada's Greatest Party Band."
Toronto-based cover band Dwayne Gretzky will headline the Observer Highway stage performing the classic hits of the 70s, 80s, 90s, and 2000s.
The 10-piece band "has built a large following based on their fun, energetic live performances, and will be performing in Hoboken as part of their U.S. tour," the city said.

Canadian hockey legend Wayne Gretzky is not a member of the band.

The city also said it was opening applications to be a vendor at the festival.
"The city of Hoboken invited artists, crafters, makers, and vendors to register for the Hoboken Fall Arts & Music Festival, which will be held Sept. 28," the city noted.
It will be held from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Washington Street, the city's main street, from Observer Highway to Seventh Street.
The festival is a walk of approximately five blocks from the Hoboken Train Terminal.
The annual fall festival attracts over 30,000 visitors and showcases the City’s vibrant cultural scene featuring live musical performances on two stages, a variety of eateries, and over 300 vendors.
“The Hoboken Fall Arts & Music Festival is a reflection of Hoboken’s community spirit and creative energy,” said Mayor Ravi halla. “It’s a day when our residents come together to celebrate local talent, enjoy live music, and support artists and small businesses."
He added, "I invite creators of all kinds to join us on Washington Street for an unforgettable experience, and I encourage everyone to sign up early to be part of this exciting tradition.”
Vendor and sponsor registration for the Hoboken Fall Arts & Music Festival will. open July 28, at 10 a.m. and will close once vendor capacity is reached.
Vendors can visit https://eventhub.net/ to access the portal and begin the application process. First-time users will need to click “Log in,” create an account by selecting “participant,” and then provide the required information.
The rain date is Oct. 5.
Additional performers will be announced in the coming weeks.
