Roger Corrado will not tell you the secret to why Windmill hot dogs are so special.
"It's a secret recipe," said Corrado, . He will, however, sell you as many as you want until 4 a.m. on the weekend.
Business has been good at the Hoboken location, Corrado said. The shop sells between 200 and 300 hot dogs per day, he said. "It's been great," Corrado said.

On Friday afternoon, during the ribbon cutting and grand opening of Windmill, local celebrity comedian Artie Lange enjoyed a hot dog, sitting next to—and laughing with—actor Danny Aiello.
Mayor Dawn Zimmer was there to cut the ribbon, and sank her teeth into a hot dog shortly after.

"This hits the spot!" she said.
"It was good lobster and a really great hot dog," Lange said Friday afternoon, followed by laughter of his friends. He said he likes to put mustard, a little sauerkraut and sometimes even a little chili on his hot dog.
When asked if he will be hanging out at Windmill, Lange answered with a definite "yes."
"It's walkable for me," Lange said. "I'm going to drive, but it's walkable."
