City Kicks Off Summer Concert Series
A free weekly summer concert kicks off on Thursday.

It's summer! That means outdoor concerts, against the backdrop of the New York City skyline.
The city is launching a free, outdoor concert series at Frank Sinatra Park at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday night.

The Woody Guthrie Tribute Concert at Sinatra Park
hosted by The Demolition String Band will feature performances by: Elena Skye, Boo Riners, Dave Lambert (of The Fuzzy Lemons), Kate Jacobs, Hello Radio, Deena & Jon from the Cucumbers, The Jersey Follettes, Tammy Faye Starlite, Meredith Ochs, Ereni Sevasti, Gene Turonis, Dave Calamoneri, Julio Fernandez, Danny Weiss and Mary Olive Smith, Randy Noojin, James Mastro, Tom Vincent, Gary & Martha Frazier, David Cogswell & Al Festa, Eddie Fogarty, Jeremy Beck, Garden Street School of Performing Arts, Brownie Troop 12041, Students from the Hoboken Dual Language Charter School (HoLa), Hoboken Jr Girl Scout Troop 12402, and many more.
The audience will be invited to sing along during many of the performances.
