'The Best Holiday Gifts In Hoboken Are Made': Inside Library Maker Space

HOBOKEN, NJ — Even after the holidays end, Hoboken library patrons can use the "MakerSpace" and equipment to create unique gifts or decorations.
The space opened in 2023 and is available to the public, including non-residents who use the library.



"Hoboken Public Library’s MakerSpace, a dedicated room for making projects of all kinds, offers a unique opportunity for the community to get their holiday creative on," said a library spokesperson.

"The space offers tools and guidance to help people design and build their own gifts, from 3D-printed ornaments and laser-cut keepsakes to digital photo projects and handmade cards."
The space is available during regular library hours, and library staff are available to help bring someone's idea to life.

The space is free to use, but if someone needs to purchase materials, there will be a cost. People can bring their own materials.
Use of the equipment requires an appointment.
