Coming Up This Week in Hoboken

What to look out for this week.

On Monday, check back with Patch to see what happened over the weekend. We will have any police blotter for you as well as pictures of an event at Stevens Institute for Technology with the school's founding family.

On Tuesday, Mama Johnson Field will be officially opened by city officials. The field as been under construction this summer. Its renovations were delayed after old soil was found under the field a couple of months ago.

The City Council will not be meeting this week. The next scheduled meeting is on October 17.

The farmers markets are back this week, downtown on Tuesday and uptown on Thursday. The markets open at 3:30 p.m. and close at 7 p.m.

On Thursday night the Hoboken Comedy Festival kicks off. The festival runs for five days.
