Deadline Approaches For Hoboken Art Walks' Emerging Artist Program

Hoboken kids who like art can apply through the end of March.

HOBOKEN, NJ — Through The Windows, the popular city-wide art walk displayed through Hoboken’s storefront windows this May, is expanding the event this year to include the city’s young artists in the making. The Hoboken Business Alliance is seeking entries from artists aged 18 and under that either live or attend school in Hoboken to participate in this new “Emerging Artist” program.

All entries will be on display in a special exhibit during the six-week program, culminating in a closing night party celebration.

Applicants can simply upload an image of the art submission along with filling out an application containing contact information and the name of the piece. The application is available at www.mainstreetpops.com , or click on the Application Here.
All art submissions are welcome, but suggested themes for inspiration are “Best Things about Hoboken” or “Favorite Season in the Mile Square City”.
The final submission date for Emerging Artist applications is March 31, 2023.

Through the Windows will run from May 1-June 15th, transforming Hoboken into an expansive live public gallery with works from local artists displayed in storefront windows throughout The Mile Square City.
