Deceased Person Found In Hoboken Apartment: Prosecutor

The Hudson County Prosecutor's Office is investigating after a person was found dead in an apartment in southwest Hoboken.

HOBOKEN, NJ — The Hudson County Prosecutor's Office is investigating the death of a person who was found in an apartment in Hoboken's public housing projects last week, a spokesperson said.

"On Wednesday, July 10, 2024, the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office was notified of a deceased male inside an apartment at 400 Marshall Drive in Hoboken," said Prosecutor's Office spokesperson Caitlin Mota on Friday.

The person has tentatively been identified as a 55-year-old Hoboken resident, Mota said.

"The cause and manner of death are pending the findings of the Regional Medical Examiner’s Office," she said.

Mota could not say if the death was suspicious or give more information.
