Feelies, Taylor Swift Emo, and Buffy Prom Coming To Jersey City Concert Hall
Miss Maxwell's? A bevy of rock shows and family entertainment options are scheduled for Jersey City's concert venue, White Eagle Hall.

JERSEY CITY, NJ — After Maxwell's — the famed rock club in Hoboken — closed in 2018, band booker Todd Abramson moved to White Eagle Hall in Jersey City. The concert venue has attracted upcoming and classic bands, as well as family entertainment.
The venue on Newark Avenue has 320 seats and 800 spaces for standing.
They recently released a new schedule of upcoming shows.

What's Coming Up?
Concerts will include The Feelies, Rock and Roll Playhouse’s performance of Taylor Swift’s music for kids, a later "Taylor Goes Emo" concert, K-pop sensation GHOST9, Venezuelan comedian Angelo Colina, comedy podcast The Makeshift Project, Americana artist James McMurtry, and a sold-out show from acclaimed singer-songwriter Richard Thompson.

Here are some of the upcoming performances:
This Friday: Richard Thompson (sold out): Known for storytelling and unmatched guitar work, Thompson's latest album is Ship to Shore. Thompson has been touted as one of the 100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time by Rolling Stone.
Next Tuesday: Aaron Watson: The first independent male country artist to debut at the top of the Billboard Country chart, Watson brings his latest single "Buy the World a Round" to White Eagle Hall.
Feb. 28: Joe Bataan: Joe Bataan is the originator of the New York Latin soul style that paralleled Latin boogaloo and anticipated disco. His musical experience began with street corner doo wop in the 1950s, and came to include one of the first rap records to hit the charts, 1979's "Rap-O, Clap-O."
March 1: GHOST9: Fresh off the release of their latest single “Down for You,” South Korean K-pop sensation GHOST9 is bringing their The New Midnight tour to Jersey City.

White Eagle Hall was constructed in 1910 and reopened in 2017 after a renovation.
