Ferry To NYC Will Be $3 During Month-Long Closure Of Hoboken PATH Train Station
The month-long closure of Hoboken's PATH train station is nearing, and alternatives have been offered like $3 ferry rides to and from NYC.

HOBOKEN, NJ — Hoboken's PATH train station, a major conduit between the mile-square city and Manhattan, is closing for upgrades from Jan. 31 through Feb. 25. The Port Authority is offering transit alternatives in conjunction with other agencies — including $3 ferry rides when bought in person or via an app.
The station, which is the underground part of the Hoboken Train Terminal, will technically close at 11:59 on Jan. 30, and reopen at 5 a.m. on Feb. 25.

NJ Transit trains will still run between Manhattan, and commuters can take the NY Waterway ferries from both the 14th Street dock uptown and at the train station. They will run every 10 minutes during peak hours.
Normally, the ferries cost much more than the $3 PATH train, but commuters can get the same price if they specifically buy the "Special PATH Ferry Tickets."

NJ Transit will provide increased 126 bus service between the train station and Port Authority Bus Terminal.
The Hudson-Bergen Light Rail trains through Hoboken and the PATH in Jersey City will also increase service.
Also, a free shuttle bus will operate 24/7 among the Hoboken, Newport, and Exchange Place PATH stations, allowing Hoboken riders to get to the other stations. The buses are ADA-accessible. More details can be found at the link below.
