Group Attacks Man And Steals His Sneakers In Hoboken: Police

A man told Hoboken police that a group of men surrounded him, attacked him, and stole his sneakers, police said.

HOBOKEN, NJ — Three men were arrested last month after a man told police that a group of "young adults wearing masks" surrounded him, attacked him, and stole his sneakers, police said.

Police said that on Dec. 21, just after 12:30 a.m., officers responded to Third and Jackson streets after a man reported he was assaulted by a group of men who took his sneakers.

Police said they determined that the victim was outside when the group started kicking and punching him, causing injuries to his face. The Hoboken Volunteer Ambulance Corps arrived to treat him.
