Hackensack Meridian Health Cuts Ribbon On Hoboken Urgent Care PLUS

The latest in a string of Urgent Care Plus and Health & Wellness Center Offerings from New Jersey's largest health care network.

Team members at Urgent Care PLUS locations are trained in emergency medicine, giving patients access to advanced diagnostics and acute care – all in one convenient location.

May 29, 2025 — Hoboken, NJ — Hackensack Meridian Health, New Jersey’s largest and most comprehensive health system cut the ribbon on its Hoboken Urgent Care PLUS location, further expanding options for a wide spectrum of easily accessible health care services in an ambulatory setting, rather than within the walls of a hospital.

This is the third Urgent Care PLUS center to open, expanding access to a wide array of health care services across Bergen, Hudson, and Essex Counties. Urgent Care PLUS centers provide fast, high-quality, convenient care, giving patients an alternative to the Emergency Room or traditional urgent care. The new facilities are staffed with emergency medicine physicians and have the resources to run moderately complex diagnostic tests, as well as advanced imaging, providing a higher level of care compared to a typical urgent care.

The Hoboken Urgent Care PLUS and its extensive range of services are designed with the community in mind including a walk-in clinic, specialty care, and a state-of-the-art imaging center. If further treatment is needed, the Urgent Care PLUS is conveniently located right next door to Hackensack Meridian Medical Group multispecialty office featuring family medicine physicians along with obstetrics & gynecology, urology, orthopedics, gastroenterology, bariatric and general surgery. CT and X-Ray imaging services are also available conveniently located in Marine View Plaza just a short walk away from the PATH, ferry and NJ Transit.

“The Hackensack Meridian Urgent Care PLUS is a great addition to the Hoboken community,” said Paul Presinzano, Hoboken resident and Urgent Care PLUS patient. “I was able to get fast expert treatment just a short walk from my home. Everything is right there. I was seen in the Urgent Care, had imaging done, and was able to schedule follow ups with specialists right in the same building.
