Hoboken Art Thief Pleads Guilty to Grand Larceny, Faces Jail Time
Mark Lugo, 31, appeared in New York superior court on Tuesday.

Hobokenite Mark Lugo pled guilty to one count of grand larceny in New York Supreme Court in Manhattan on Tuesday and will go to prison for as much as three years, according to the Manhattan District Attorney's office.
Lugo, 31, pled guilty to walking out of the Chambers Hotel in midtown Manhattan with five paintings and the Carlyle Hotel on the Upper East Side with a painting worth $350,000, according to the DA's press release.
In July, Lugo was arrested in San Francisco Lugo after taking a drawing by Picasso from a gallery in San Francisco.

Lugo is scheduled to be sentenced on Feb. 28.
