Hoboken 'Camp Fair' Bounces Into Town This Sunday

What will you do this summer? Learn about 25 camps in the area at a free "camp fair" in Hoboken.

HOBOKEN, NJ — Don't know what your kids will be doing this summer? There are lots of options in and around Hoboken — both camps that take kids to local parks and camps that bus kids to the lake.

You can find out about at least 25 of them this Sunday.

From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Main Street Pops will run a Camp Fair at 301 Garden St., inside the gym of the Rue School building.

The fair is free to attend.

"One-stop summer planning," the organization announced. "Families can explore the diverse range of summer offerings available in the area with something for every child’s interest."

Camps and activities will included that focus on sports, arts, STEM, and general adventure..

"Attendees can expect to meet with camp representatives, gather information, ask questions and even register for camps on the spot. Whether children are budding artists, sports enthusiasts, science whizzes, or simply seeking new adventures, there will be something for everyone to enjoy."

Tracy Gavant of Main Street Pops said, “Building on the popularity of last year’s Camp Fair during the MSP Artisan Market, attendees requested we produce an earlier stand-alone event in March, so that families and camps have ample time to evaluate their options and make informed decisions."

The event is sponsored by The Hoboken Business Alliance and Curious Jane.
