Hoboken Education Foundation Embarks On Fundraising Quest

From The Hoboken Public Education Foundation: The Hoboken Public Education Foundation is on a mission to raise more than $100,000 for local schools this year.

Set up by a group of local public school parents, the Foundation has raised more than $90,000 in its first year (2015-16), and hopes to exceed that figure this year with support from local business at its annual Spring Gala at the W Hotel on May 18, according to a news release from the group.

Hoboken Public Education Foundation initiatives have included:

· The Professional Development for Teachers and Staff across the district
· Brandt Auditorium Sound System
· Calabro Smart Document Cameras
· Connors Media Center Books and Turnstile
· HJSHS Auditorium Sound & Acoustics System
· HJSHS Outdoor Marquis Sign
· Wallace Multi-Media Arts Supply Package
· Family Science Nights (All grades K-6)
· Storm Drain Mural Project with Hoboken Green Team (Grades 5-12)
