is hosting a pub crawl and bachelor auction to raise money for the brand new hurling team in town.
Organizer David Cosgrove is inviting Hobokenites to come celebrate the no. 1 Irish sport on Saturday night and potentially sign up to play on the team.
"We're recruiting new players, auctioning off current ones to single Hoboken gals, enjoying traditional Irish music, playing matches on sponsoring pub flatscreens, serving food at Mulligans, and of course, there are excellent drink specials at each bar," Cosgrove wrote in an email.

The team will make at least four stops on its tour through Hoboken's best Irish pubs. From 4 to 5 p.m., the team will be at , followed by —the team's unofficial watering hole—from 5 to 6:30 p.m., from 6:30 to 8 p.m., and then (if you're still standing), from 8:30 p.m. on. The event cost $10.
