HOBOKEN, NJ — The fifth annual Hoboken Literary Weekend at the city's independent book store, Little City Books, runs from this Friday through Sunday.

Among the events and authors to check out:

New Yorker fiction editor Deborah Treisman will be among the authors on panels at the event.

Other writers and poets who will appear include: Lucy Sante (I Heard Her Call My Name), Hua Hsu (Stay True), Jean Hanff Korelitz (The Sequel), Deborah Garrison (poet and Penguin Random House editor), poet Marie Howe (New and Selected Poems), poet Nick Flynn (Low), and more.

Writer and editor David Levithan (Songs for Other People’s Weddings) will once again moderate a panel of young adult authors, including Gayle Forman (After Life), Libba Bray (Under the Same Stars), Loan Le (Solving for the Unknown), and Brian Selznick (Run Away with Me).

Comedy producer Leah Williams returns with Little City Laughing, a night of stand-up comedians.

Little City Lights will perform short plays by Hanna Novak, Traci Parks, Ed Horan, BT Hayes, and more.
