Hoboken Man Allegedly Assaulted in Road Rage Incident

The victim told police that three men assaulted him while driving from Jersey City to Hoboken.

A 24-year-old Hoboken man told police he was assaulted in his car, while he was driving from Jersey City to Hoboken.

Around 11:50 p.m. on Wednesday, the victim was driving when a black Nissan started following him, police said. When the victim eventually had to stop his car—behind a garbage truck in the area of First and Jackson Streets—three men got out of the black Nissan, police said.

Once the men got out, one broke the driver's seat window, police said, while two others tried to enter the car and punch the victim repeatedly.
