
A New York City cab driver allegedly sprayed a chemical substance in the face of a 27-year-old Hoboken man, early Sunday morning.
Around 5 a.m., the man took a taxi from the city back to Hoboken, and told the driver he didn't have any cash on hand, police said.
By the time the taxi arrived in Hoboken, at Third and Hudson Streets, the driver asked the man for cash, according to reports. When the man was unable to produce the cash, the cab driver allegedly said "f*** you," and sprayed him in the face with a chemical substance, according to police reports.

After that, the taxi drove off, according to police reports.
Another Hobokenite found the victim yelling in front of 2 Marine View Plaza, police said.

The man couldn't identify the cab driver and no arrests were made.
