HOBOKEN, NJ — Hoboken's PATH train station will close for repairs later this month after experiencing recent equipment problems and a derailment, the city announced Friday.

Back in January, the station closed for the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey to make upgrades, but the system recently suffered a series of setbacks, prompting officials to say that the line would run more slowly through Labor Day so fixes could be made.

Now, the station will close for Labor Day weekend, the agency said.
