Will Hoboken PATH Station Reopen On Time Tuesday? Here's What Port Authority Said

Will the Hoboken PATH train station reopen Tuesday after a closure, and will NJ Transit reduce its extra buses? Both agencies responded.

HOBOKEN, NJ — How many construction projects have you heard of that remain on schedule?

The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey told Patch on Monday that the Hoboken PATH Train Station will reopen on Tuesday morning as scheduled, at 5 a.m.

The station has been closed for about a month, forcing thousands of commuters to New York City, Newark, and Jersey City to take buses, ferries, shuttles, and other trains instead.

NJ Transit, which had added extra buses for a month, was asked if they will reduce buses or keep some extras on after the PATH reopens.

"We will revert to pre-outage service levels on buses," a spokesperson told Patch.
