Hoboken police arrested a 46-year-old Jersey City man who had allegedly been shoplifting in town recently, according to police reports.
On June 8 and June 9, Jonathan Clinton allegedly stole several items from Ricky's at 222 Washington St.
Clinton told police he was staying at the Hoboken shelter, according to the report. Police said Clinton—who told police he was staying at the Hoboken shelter—had an outstanding warrant and an extensive criminal history, and was arrested.
