Hoboken Crab Cakes Make TV Debut
Tom Barone sat on the couch with Greg and Rosanna on Fox5 on Tuesday morning.
Tom Barone, who has owned since December, was on his way into work last week when his cell phone rang.
"Hi this is Greg Kelly from Good Day on Fox5," the voice on the other line said.
Barone recognized the voice right away. Kelly, the co-host of Fox5's morning show, called to ask Barone to be on the show and do some cooking on live television.

Kelly told Barone that he had been to Arthur's as a high school student. After a few minutes the two hung up and Kelly told Barone that a producer would be in touch.
"I'm thinking 'yeah right, I'll hear from you in 2015,'" Barone said in a phone interview on Wednesday. But a few days later a producer called and on Tuesday morning Barone appeared on the show.

On live television, Barone—who is a chef by trade but doesn't cook at Arthur's—prepared some crab cakes. While he displayed some of Arthur's signature steaks, the morningshow didn't have a grill for him to use.
And a steak, so he said, must be grilled.
While Arthur's is mostly known for its steaks, Barone added, he wants people to know that the restaurant also serves other dishes.
Barone and his business partner are planning to renovate Arthur's later this year and completely re-do the interior of the restaurant.
"The place is just dated," Barone said. After so many years as a popular place, the space has seen "a lot of wear and tear." The menu at the restaurant has also been changed since the new owners took over.
