Hoboken needs a mayor who brings a fresh perspective to our mile-square city, with both state and federal expertise. That’s why Dini Ajmani has my vote—and I encourage you to consider her as well.
As a 24-year resident and homeowner, I’ve seen one constant: nonstop development paired with rising taxes. We were told that more rateables would lower or stabilize taxes, yet the conversation always returns to more staffing and additional resources.
Development and infrastructure must go hand in hand. While the NHSA is installing pumps to ease flooding, our aging infrastructure (including water mains) still demands attention. We need solutions that don’t push homeowners out with ever-rising tax bills.

Fiscal responsibility matters. Dini has served at both the state and federal Treasury, giving her rare expertise to guide Hoboken forward. Several mayoral candidates have chaired the council finance committee. These council members had a key hand in our budgets. Real leadership requires transparency and partnership, not finger-pointing.
When revenues from the parking utility are used or library funds eyed to plug fiscal holes, it’s clear Hoboken faces serious challenges. Our most recent Business Administrator even warned of steep tax increases ahead.

Hoboken deserves a mayor who understands fiscal accountability, can rein in out-of-control development, and knows how to leverage county and state services. Dini Ajmani is that leader. She has my vote—and hopefully yours.
