It's (Still) Hot in Hoboken; Pool Open Saturday
Temperatures may reach the 95ºF mark.

Get ready for a sweaty weekend. Temperatures on both days are hovering around 95ºF, and there's a chance of more thunderstorms.
To make you feel a little bit more comfortable during the heat wave, City Spokesman Juan Melli announced yesterday that the community pool at the Boys and Girls Club at 123 Jefferson St., open to kids between 5 and 12, will be open today (Saturday) from 11 a.m to 5 p.m.
There has been some discussion about the community pool recently, when Fourth Ward Candidate Tim Occhipinti came out saying that the scheduled opening date of the pool was too late.

The city is also opening two cooling centers at 11 a.m. at 220 Adams St. and at 311 13th St. (Fox Hill Gardens) and will monitor the situation throughout the day to determine how long to keep the cooling centers open, said Melli.
It's not the first hot weekend of the summer, and you can use some of Patch's previous tips on how to deal with the heat here and here.
