Jersey City Man Charged with Drug Dealing Near Hoboken Housing Authority
A 21-year-old Jersey City man was arrested.

Hoboken police arrested a Jersey City man on Monday afternoon in the area of Fourth and Madison Streets after he was allegedly involved in an illegal drugs transaction, according to reports.
Keith Rodriguez, 21, was seen on the steps of 422 Madison St. around 2:25 p.m., talking to another man, police said. When officers walked up to Rodriguez, he noticed and he immediately placed an object in his mouth and another in the front part of his sweatpants, police said.
While police arrested Rodriguez, the man he was talking to fled the area, police said.

Upon further examination, Rodriguez was in possession of eight small plastic bags of cocaine, as well as four small and one large ziploc and four small bags of crack cocaine, police said.
Rodriguez was charged with possession of drugs, with intent to sell within 500 feet of the Hoboken Housing Authority, according to reports.
