The Medical Center encourages women to attend the roundtable and hear from physicians and wellness experts on risk factors for heart disease and other cardiac illnesses. Understanding and evaluating ways to better one’s heart health, such as learning simple nutrition can change an adult women’s life.
“American Heart Month is in February, but our cardiovascular health is important every day. We’re providing guidance at this roundtable, but it’s important for individuals to follow up with their primary-care doctors for regular check-ups and learn about risk factors for heart disease,” said Dr. Abed.
