Last Part of River Street Paving Scheduled for Friday

From the City of Hoboken: 

The remainder of the paving of River Street between 2nd Street and 4th Street is scheduled for Friday, May 25, weather permitting.

Residents and visitors are advised to expect traffic delays in the area and to consider alternate routes. 

Due to the unpredictable access to driveways and off-street parking, the City will be providing free garage parking to residents affected by the work. Free parking will be available in municipal Garage B (entrance on Second Street between River Street and Hudson Street) and Garage D (entrance on Hudson Street between Second Street and Third Street) from 8 p.m. on Thursday, May 24 to noon on Saturday, May 26. Residents who need to exit a garage via River Street are advised to exit by 8 a.m. on Friday, May 25, park in a municipal garage, or on-street. Free garage parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
