A man has been charged with murder after a father and son were found dead in a home in Guttenberg, NJ last month.

HUDSON COUNTY, NJ — After a father and son were found dead in the Hudson County town of Guttenberg last month, one man has been charged with murder, prosecutors said Wednesday.

Lamont Cole, 40, of East Orange was arrested at the Hudson County Correctional Facility on Tuesday and charged with one count of murder, said the Hudson County Prosecutor's Office Wednesday.

Prosecutors said that on Nov. 23, shortly after 10 p.m., the Guttenberg Police Department was notified of two unresponsive men inside a home at 209 71st St.

Then men were later identified as Justo Bory, 87, and Ricardo Bory, 58, who lived in Guttenberg. A source confirmed they were father and son.

Cole was initially arrested that day for interfering with the investigation, prosecutors said.

But after post-mortem examinations were performed on both men, the Regional Medical Examiner’s Office issued a report on Monday saying that Justo Bory's cause of death was compression of the neck, and the manner of death was homicide, prosecutors said.

The post-mortem report for Ricardo Bory is pending, prosecutors said.

The Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office Homicide Unit and the Guttenberg Police Department are still investigating, prosecutors said. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Office of the Hudson County Prosecutor at 201-915-1345 or to leave an anonymous tip at:
