Man Throws Whiskey Glass at Girl in Bar

One man took "bottoms up" a little too literally in an uptown Hoboken bar this weekend.

Hoboken police reported to a 24-year-old woman from Egg Harbour early Saturday morning, who said a man had thrown a whiskey glass at her, according to a police report.

When police arrived at an uptown bar, they met with the 24-year-old and her 21-year-old boyfriend, police said.

According to the reports, the woman was crying and told officers that she wanted to go home. The woman's boyfriend said that a man in a green plaid shirt at the bar had thrown a whiskey glass at his girlfriend, causing a laceration above her left eye, according to the reports.

The reason is yet unknown, but the bartender told police the man was hitting on the girl, who didn't respond to his advances, according to the police report.

No arrests were made.
