
An unkown man with a gun robbed a downtown store on Saturday around 7:30 p.m., according to police reports.
According to police, a male entered an establishment on Newark and Garden Streets and demanded money from an employee while pointing a gun straight at him. The victim handed over $250 in bills, police said.
The victim, a 29-year-old Jersey City man, told police that the robber was about 5-foot-11, light skinned and wearing a black hoodie, according to the report.

The robber was wearing blue rubber gloves and didn't leave any finger prints and video footage of the event was unavailable, according to the report.
After the victim handed over the money, the robber left the store, police said.

A search was conducted by police, but the man wasn't found, according to the police report. No arrests were made.
