Mello May Be Appointed to Housing Authority Board
Current commissioner Michael Russo's term is up in May.

Councilman-at-Large David Mello could be the next Housing Authority Commissioner.
The city council, which traditionally appoints one of the seven people on the HHA board, will vote on a resolution to appoint Mello to a five year term on the board, replacing current council appointee Third Ward Councilman Michael Russo.
Mello, an ally of Mayor Dawn Zimmer and a Fourth Ward resident, would serve until May 3, 2017 if the resolution is approved.
