Molly's Milk Truck Aims to Bottle Iced Coffee Through Kickstarter Campaign
With 13 days to go, the owners of Molly's Milk Truck are more than one-third of the way to raising the $40,000 they need to get their signature iced coffee bottled and in stores.

With your help, the iced coffee at Molly's Milk Truck may soon be available for refreshing pick-me-ups on a mass scale.
The owners of the healthy Hoboken food truck are turning to crowd-funding platform Kickstarter to cover the costs of bottling and transporting their one-of-a-kind caffeinated concoction so it can be stocked and sold at food stores near you.
Founder Hoda Mahmoodzadegan, who developed the recipe for the thrice-brewed iced coffee that combines vanilla, almond milk, cinnamon and agave nectar, is imploring believers in the beverage to contribute to the company's bottling and distribution mission.
"I am so close to having our signature iced coffee bottled, but we are $40,000 short," she said. "Instead of rolling over and getting the money from investors who have asked us for 50 percent or more of ownership of the drink, we have tried to raise the money ourselves via Kickstarter."
To date, the Kickstarter campaign has raised nearly $14,000 of its $40,000 goal, but the clock is ticking. If Molly's Milk Truck can't raise the remaining $26,000 by Aug. 27 at 8:50 p.m., it won't see a dollar of those donations.
