Music, Beer Garden, Pumpkin Painting: Hoboken Harvest Festival Scheduled For Weekend

The annual Hoboken Harvest Festival will include activities for kids and adults to "bring families, neighbors, and visitors together."

HOBOKEN, NJ — You don't have to drive an hour away to paint pumpkins, ride a kiddie train, or sip an autumn ale.

The city of Hoboken, in partnership with the Hoboken Business Alliance (HBA), has invited residents and visitors to enjoy the annual Harvest Festival this Saturday from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.

It takes place at Pier A Park and the South Waterfront Walkway, just north of the Hoboken Train Terminal.

This free, family-friendly event will feature "an afternoon of festive activities, live entertainment, local food, and craft vendors," the city said.

Mayor Ravi Bhalla said, “This event brings families, neighbors, and visitors together in one of our most beautiful waterfront spaces for a day of fun and community connection. Thank you to the Hoboken Business Alliance for partnering with us once again to make this special day possible.”

Children will enjoy free attractions including bounce houses, a trackless train, a pumpkin decorating station, face painting, balloon art, and a special visit from the dinosaurs of Dinosaurs Arise.

Festival goers can also explore vendors including crafters, artists, and some of the city’s favorite restaurants.

Live performances will feature music by the Demolition String Band and more.

A beer garden will also be available for attendees ages 21 and over.

“The Hoboken Business Alliance is proud to support events like the Harvest Festival that bring our community together while also spotlighting local businesses and talent,” said James Runkle, president of the Board of Trustees for the HBA.
