New Corner Coffee Shop In Hoboken, Cafe Cartel, Pushes Back Opening

A new corner shop with Colombian coffee, the Cartel, is preparing to open in Hoboken.

HOBOKEN, NJ — A new cafe serving Colombian coffee has delayed its opening day from this Wednesday, they said.

"We’ve encountered a last-minute issue," said the owners on Tuesday. "Unfortunately, we won’t be able to open tomorrow as planned ... We are actively working on resolving it."

"Big news, Hoboken!" they posted on social media earlier this month. "Café Cartel is coming soon! Get ready to delight in the rich, bold flavors of premium coffee, freshly sourced from Medellín, Colombia."

They're working with Cafetero Coffee Company, which sources beans from Colombia, according to their social media.

The cafe is located at 1100 Adams St., near the newly revamped Northwest Park.
