Police Blotter: Man Arrested On River Street After Punching Woman

Hoboken police arrested 28-year-old Fernando Good from Hampton Bays, NY on Friday around 1:50 a.m., after he punched a Union City woman in the face, according to police reports. 

According to police, an officer walked onto River Street and witnessed the assault. 

When police tried to arrest Good, he struggled, and when the officer attempted to handcuff Good, he refused to give his wrist, according to police reports. When police transported Good to police headquarters, Good kept banging his head against the back seat, according to police reports. 

The victim told police that her jaw was in pain and her vision was blurry, but denied to be taken to the hospital, police said. 

Good was charged with aggravated assault and resisting arrest, police said.
