HUDSON COUNTY, NJ — Six local Democrats are vying on Tuesday to be the party nominees for two 32nd District Assembly seats on the Nov. 4 ballot. The 32nd District includes Hoboken and part of Jersey City.

The two winners of Tuesday's Democratic primary will face off against two Republicans in November for the seats, and possibly third party candidates and independents.

The two Republican candidates for 32nd District Assembly will not face a challenge in the primary on Tuesday, but their ability to amass at least some votes may be an indicator of how strong a showing they may have in November in largely Democratic Hudson County.
