Red Bank Woman Allegedly Assaulted by Group of Teens
The incident happened Saturday night, police said.

A 29-year-old Red Bank woman was assaulted around Third and River Streets by a group of female teenagers, police said.
Police was dispatched to 333 River St., where they met the 29-year-old victim.
The woman told police that she and a friend were crossing the street at Third and River, when a group of teenage girls followed them, according to the report. One of the girls kept saying "excuse you," the victim told police.

Ultimately the victim answered, according to the police report, "what are you excusing?"
At that time, the teenager allegedly smacked an cup of ice cream out of the victim's hands and allegedly grabbed her by the hair. Police said that a struggle between the two followed, ending with the teenager striking the victim in the face.

The group of teenagers—consisted of about five girls and three boys—then walked west, police said, leaving the 29-year-old with a swollen lip.
No arrest were made.
