Remediation Underway At Frank Sinatra Park Soccerfield
Construction is supposed to be completed in December of this year.

After years of being closed, construction begun last week at the soccer field at Frank Sinatra Park.
Currently, workers are busy with demolition at the site. As of next week, the underwater work will begin to secure the structure of the park, said City Spokesman Juan Meli. Those workers will be working under water, which may not be visible, Melli said also.

The work is scheduled to be done no later than December 21, 2012. If the project is delayed, the city will issue a $1,500 daily fee to the construction company.
